Featuring Tyson Tyler:
Born in Australia but raised in South Auckland, Fijian blooded Tyson has worked hard to perfect his chosen craft. From the age of 15 he has been writing and producing his own music, at 17 he was accepted to attend the Dawnraid “Str8 From Tha Streetz 2” music programme, solidifying his choice to become an entertainer. Graduating the course three months later with his first professionally recorded song from the course “South Auckland Anthem” co-produced by Chong Nee, the song became somewhat of an underground classic, forging an early impression in the young talents career.

Tyson independently released two mix-tapes in 2004. Whilst working on the third, his rugged vocal tone and demanding delivery caught the ear of Breakin Wreckwordz head Cyphanetik. Before long he had became the newest and youngest recruit to join the BWW roster. He released the mix-tapes “Dooms Day” with DJ CXL and “Real Name No Gimix” with DJ Truent, as well as appearing heavily on the “Breakin Wreckwordz Vol.2 - It's A Monster” album. He has collaborated with local artists Young Sid, Ethical, R.E.S, Temple Jones, Pieter.T and international artists Kardinal Offishall, Monsta Ganjah, Alfamega and toured nationally

FUNK VILLAINS is a newly formed super group outta Htown which consists of members from 3 crews...Hitz & Kortaz (FV), N.I & Z.O (FZV), Koma & SMV (FCS) with DJ Impact on the one's & two's performing brand new material & a new mixtape droppin' the same day as SS3.

Dr Dre - Turn Me On (Another Weak Leak)

If you want to hear the song.... google it.

It's starting to seem that the long (no longer awaited but) delayed 'Detox' has become a year and a half slow drip from the ceiling annoying more people than its pleasing. Have you tried sleeping next to a slow inconsitent drip? I haven't but I'm sure that shit pisses people off. It's one drip away from chinese water torture and thats what this has become. Every couple of months an incomplete Detox nominee leaks and people complain about how the album is never coming out. Shit, even I am doing it right now. I know that pushing back albums is the trend for hiphop right now but Dre is taking it to another level.

All we are hearing is sub-par incomplete tracks. When the leaks 1st started, I heard a couple good joints with TI rapping what would be Dre's verses that would have been dope to hear complete and on an actual album, shit a compilation or a soundtrack would have been okay. Even the crack a bottle leak that had Eminem doing the verses in Dre's tone sounded better than the final version that hit the radio. But now I am hearing some weak shit with this 'Turn Me On' track. In all aspects of music this song aint hitting anything, either that or I am getting old.

I never got to hear the last leak 'Under Pressure' because it got flooded with hate, Dre said it was incomplete and he will release the proper version in a few weeks. That was months ago and I still havent seen shit so I still havent heard it. This was around the same time he was promoting his 'beats by dre' headphones and announcing 'detox will be coming out this year' followed by a chuckle. The dude is laughing at how long this shit is taking him. Then he announces a date, just to be pushed back again and someone mysteriously leaks another song.

But why leak this song?
I just hope and prey this song is not gonna be on detox and/or unfinished rather than a 'snippet' because what I have heard is terrible. With Lyrics like "I want to F*** you so bad right now" and "Every time you step into the room, OMG!" Seriously, girls singing some OMG shit like mid-forties dre is trying to make on some 14 year olds. Then Dre's rap style, probably ghostwrote by Jigga is sounding like a british 14 year old wanting to be Dre. The beat is meh. It sounds like granddaddy dre is trying to cater to the Justin Biebers with edge.

This shit aint gonna work but I have been wrong before... look at Drakes success.

Venomous Mic Technicians Back at it

Damn man, it’s been a minute since we been doing music. So much has been going on in our personal lives that we had to put the group on the back burner for a while. But don’t worry. We back at it again now. But before I get into that, let me tell you what all the members of the crew been up to.

Krippled Kemist done graduated and got married! My man is now working as an Creative Copywriter in Advertising, conceptualising and writing TV,Radio and print ads.

Slip of the tongue has been busy expanding his whanau and is now in his 2nd year in his counselling course and actively counselling within the Hamilton community.

I (Lewztheryn) finally got a job, got engaged and had a baby. I am now a proud father and been working in the natural gas industry.

With all that has been going on, it has been real hard for all of us to get together and find a time where all of us are not busy. We have been making music but nowhere near as much as we used to due to other commitments but VMT has always been a priority and now things have calmed down in our personal lives we are back in the game and strategizing our plan of attack.

Here is a rundown for things we are looking forward too.

LRG – We have come to an agreement and now have sponsorship with the good people with LRG clothing http://www.l-r-g.com/ thanks LRG for your support. Props to the bro Tom for the hook up and Slip of the tongue for following through.

VMTeez – I have just purchased a shit load of Tees and will be sending them off to the printers very soon. The shirts are ranging from kids, women, men and tall tees. So we will be having shirts that cater to everyone. A limited supply of course so you will have to be in quick to get one.

Music Video – You may have seen the vid for Kripple Khemists – Mushie Flat or maybe not. I think the vid has been taken down now, it was a rough cut anyway. But we got another VIDEO in the works and have come across a nice investment opportunity to make a dope video for one of our tracks. We wrote the story line for the video today and will be looked at shortly. I am really looking forward to this as are the other members and can’t wait to show you all. However good things take time, so watch this space.

Shows – I have stopped organizing shows due to time constraints but that won’t stop us from doing shows full stop. We have a couple of shows lined up, the first being the HU$TLERS SUITE. The details are as follows:

4 September 2009 at 6:30PM Meteor Theatre, Corner of Bridge Street and Victoria Street, Hamilton!! Featuring Young Sid, DJ Peter Gunz, Lomoney, Assassinz, Charlie Vandal, Crooks International, Recommended Dosage, Pakkz Wun, Venomous Mic Technicians, Flowz, DJ Reminisce, Loko, Dei Hamo, Oh6 Offishall And more.....

$20 pre-sales $25 door sales. Tidy Dress and VIP tables available for $800 a table

Music – Yes we are still making music and have a line of projects coming up including the “VIPER SQUAD: Toxicology Report Mixtape”. This is a project of VMT and affiliates. It is coming together nicely, nearing completion and has a lot of dope tracks in the mix! Look out for this shit and make sure you grab it because it will be a street classic. “LewzTheryn – Life Is Short and So is This Album!” This is my solo ep project based on my experiences and learning’s in life as well as brag/skill tracks that kill. “Slip Of The Tongue – The Trouble With Vin” Slips solo project is coming together nicely and has some definite bangers in this. Expect real classic Hood Shit with this one. “Kareoke Kowboyz – Triple Penetration” This will be VMT under our pseudonym doing hilarious parody tracks for our own fun. This one has the lowest priority on the list but the most fun involved. As you can see there is a lot to look forward to coming from us.

What else? – There are a couple more things we are all looking forward to, but are still in early stages of organising so I can’t speak too much on these but will keep you posted once it has been sorted.

In the mean time, to celebrate the fact of us getting back to work. We are posting up our last Street Album called Greatest Shits. Make sure you download it, burn it, pass it to your boys, your girls, your fams and even your enemies and play dat shit.
